How to Setup Microsoft Office 2021 Professional Plus

Step 1: Uninstall any existing office

IMPORTANT NOTE: All new machines or new windows 10 or 11 installations automatically installed trial edition of office 365 subscription. Please make sure you double-checked your control panel and uninstall them.

Unspecified Error / Registry Fix Issue / Can't Uninstall Old Office 365 or other edition

Step 2: Download, install and activate your office 2021 Pro Plus

  1. Microsoft Office 2021 Professional Plus (Download the full software from the below Link)
  2. Check your machine which bit to download (Click Start Button → Settings → System → About)
  3. For 32 / 64 bit ISO Download
  4. https://officecdn.microsoft.com/db/492350f6-3a01-4f97-b9c0-c7c6ddf67d60/media/en-us/ProPlus2021Retail.img
  5. Right-click on the downloaded file "ProPlus2021Retail" and select "Open With" then select "Windows Explorer" and then double click "Office" folder
  6. Install the package (32 bit or 64 bit)
  7. Open Microsoft Word and then click File (open blank document if necessary) → then click Account → From the Left side if you see any account/email account already sign in then click the “Sign out” link/button → then from the right side click the “Change License / Change Product key / Activate Product” → then enter the 25 digit key and follow the prompt to activate it
  8. Restart your PC
  9. IMPORTANT: Please note that you do not need any ZIP/compress software to open the ISO file. Windows 10 or 11 can open an ISO file simply double click or right-click on the ISO file and select open with-> windows explorer.
  10. please uninstall any file compression type software such as WinZip, 7z, Power2Go, or express zip as it interrupts opening an ISO file or changes the file location. You can reinstall them after completing your office 2021 installation.  
  11. ** Note: if you see it is still asking you to log in the click the “Try another account” or “I don’t want to login enter key instead” ***

    How do I open MS Outlook and Team in my MS Office 2021 Professioinal Plus.  I do not want to use my Email address nor do I want to use a Microsoft account.  I previously used MS 2010 and liked the calendar where I could make meeting times etc without using my email. Is this feature not available without having to create an email in  MS 2021?

    File only partially downloads and does so as a window media player file.  I've tried 4 times and am now finished.  Please refund my money!!!

    Hi,
    I recently purchased Office 21 professional plus and have downloaded the software.  However, I can't see the individual icons for each of the Microsoft Office applications in the start-up menu.  How can I make them visible so I can start using them? I have uninstalled and installed the software twice.  Thanks, Antonio

    I have repeatedly tried to update to Office 2021 but everytime I open Word it shows the old version and won't let me choose the new version.  I tried inputing product key for Office 2021, but it ignores me and reloads Office 2016.  I hope you have an answer, else I want a refund!  Frown

    after nearly 5 hours of following useless and complicated information on how to install an upgraded version of Office, I realised I had to (1) sign out of microsoft account inside Word (2) make sure ALL versions of Office were uninstalled and deleted even in file history and back up disk (3) PUT MY internet connection into FLIGHT MODE so Office install could not communicate with my Microsoft account (else an install of Office will install the most "recent" version as listed in you M/soft account Order History (4) then, with a clean slate and fully offline, I installed Office 2021.  Opened Word and there it was in Account page of File tab.  So, these instructions are very confusing AND failed to tell you to disconnect from the internet (ie, go into Flight mode) before the update is installed.  I also blame Microsoft, it is their stupid idea to force Office install to run last known version of office as per their account; nothing except disconnecting internet will stop this.  Typical Microsoft Frown

    Followed your instructions to install MSOffice 2021 and it worked, no problems.
    Tip: Use the MSOffice un-installation tool to remove any previous installs.
